Jake Fretz is a GMA Canada multi-award-winning artist, songwriter, and worship leader. Born & raised on the bustling shores of the Great Lakes, Jake now thrives in the Canadian prairies where he lives to inspire others to find their unique God-given identity, and to celebrate the diverse unity of the Kingdom. Jake’s passion for Jesus is contagious, and through his poetically unique and accessible style, Jake makes music to bring us together so that we “shine as one”.
Since his first release in December 2019, Jake’s songs continue to find their home in congregations and audiences alike, including multiple singles on Canadian Christian radio, and numerous weeks on the TOP 30: Here Comes The Kingdom (2021); Look Up (2022); Feel Your Forgiveness (2025); Treasure (2025).
Jake’s most recent LP release, RUN & REST, is a concept album composed of congregational anthems and vulnerable ballads that lead the listener on a journey alongside God’s presence through life’s peaks and valleys.
Beyond the studio and stage, Jake is equally passionate about the local church & regularly crafts his songs alongside his worship community.
